Our Adult Educators
At SSI we believe in developing talents to shine with altruism. We encourage and facilitate professional growth for our Adult Educators (AEs) and continuously build a solid and lasting partnership with them. We stand committed to evolve stronger as a family. In mind with our prime mission to create trends, explore possibilities and inspire compassion.
Why join the Adult Educators pool?
AEs who partner with SSI can look forward to opportunities to take on different roles. There are various engagement mediums and professional development opportunities in place to encourage AEs’ continuous professional growth, active engagements and interactions, and a providence of a quality feedback pool with SSI.
Apply to be our Adult Educator
If you’re interested to join us, kindly submit the application form along with your documents (CV and credentials).
Adult Educators Recognition
SSI values the contribution of our AEs in the social service sector and have a system in place to honour their efforts.
Growing Together to Impact as One
AE recognition is only a small fraction of what we do for our AEs. We also partner, nurture, engage, impact and journey with them.
Partnership Opportunities
SSI is constantly looking for partnerships with local or international Social Service Agencies (SSAs), Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs), Institute of Higher Learning (IHLs) and Private Training Organisations to develop the capabilities of Singapore’s SSAs in the areas of:
-
Social Service Practice and Future trends
-
Leadership and Management
-
Technology Adoption and Digitalisation
-
Emerging Skills
-
Outcome Measurement and Management
-
Financial management
-
Fundraising
The capability interventions could be through training, workplace learning, consultancy, coaching, digital learning solutions etc. SSI will be able to assist you with the sector insights, reaching out to the sector and intervention design inputs. Where possible, SSI will assist with the course fee funding and administration of learning and development interventions.
The partner should have the relevant expertise in the domain, management readiness and buy in to understand the needs of the sector. They should also be able to devise strategies to develop capability solutions and have a readiness to deploy these initiatives and projects.
Please write to us at socialserviceinstitute@ncss.gov.sg for partnership opportunities.
